Took a daytrip to Mineral Wells, TX yesterday to try the Crazy Water and see the old Baker Hotel. Mineral Wells is a run-down little town, with many old abandoned buildings scattered throughout

As I passed a dilapidated bank building, I saw this in the teller lane:

Hmm, let’s have a closer look:

Those are old Ontario plates. Real old. How in the hell did it end up abandoned in a bank in Texas? You should look into it just for the story.

My S.O. and I decided that we’re likely going back for a whole weekend someday soon to get some pictures of the downtown area. I might actually make a few calls and see if I can find out.

I’m really feeling that two-tone.

Having never had a chance to be within arm’s length of one of this vintage, I must admit, it’s a beautiful shape. Very purpose-built and taut, like an athlete.

Oh that I could... but I have nowhere to put it, and my poor shitbox isn’t up to the task of trailering it.

Hmm. I wonder if I can dig up some dirt on it with the Plate number.

Those are the OEM tires, that C3 has been there for a very long time.

C4s can pull off two-tone very well. And I couldn’t agree more, I love them dearly. Shame that a ton of them end up abandoned or trashed like this one. Even the body looks relatively straight in the pictures. You should claim it!

Winter Texans. Thousands of Canadians spend the winter in Texas, along with residents from the more northern United States. It's not at all unusual to see Canadian plates in this state.
